Sixth Form
Following completion of courses in Year 11, many of our students elect to return to the Sixth Form to gain additional qualifications before they enter further / higher education, training or seek employment. King’s School Sixth Form has a policy of allowing students of all levels of ability to follow a course that best suits their needs if there are suitable courses on offer. However, specific qualifications may be required to undertake certain courses.
Students hoping to begin an advanced course of study (Level 3) should have 5 GCSEs A*-C including English and Maths.

Students on level 2 courses follow a programme of work experience two days a week.
All Sixth Form students have the opportunity to engage in a range of activity sessions to support the formal curriculum. In addition to their courses, they will participate in an enrichment programme, including General Studies and Physical Education.
